ALBERT EINSTEIN INVENTED THE ARCHTYPE OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST SCIENTIST

It was himself, of course. But before that, and after, there was so much more. It has been said that he was the greatest scientific mind of the 20th century and one of the greatest of all time. You would have to consult many of the dozens of books written about him to know all that he had accomplished in his long life.

It has been more than 50 years since he died and we are still pondering all that passed in his lifetime. He was born in 1879 in Germany. His parents were not wealthy nor prominent, or scientific. He was a slow child and yet somehow his brain became so active at creating complex questions and answers that he confounded many of those around him. They too were giants of scientific thought at the time.

His writing and thinking about the Theory of Relativity, and all that it described in the equation e=mc2, unlocked the secrets of starlight but also the cosmic code of element production. But that was only the beginning, as he expanded on some of his most abstract ideas to describe Gravity and its influence on bodies and light and many other things. He actually was able to quantify all of these. Further thought led him to some theories that influenced us in the development of modern lasers and even the working of DVD’s.

He is revered by scientists throughout the world for his deep creativity. There are so many scientists living today who carry forward his research and add to it. Very rarely do they stray from his premises. We know so much of space and the world and universe around us, and yet what we know is minute compared to what is yet to be discovered. A thousand years from now we may still be opening more secrets that he first thought of and asked questions about.
